Mitochondria’s ATP Energy
So, what is the difference with our Mito-Life Energy Protocol? Well, the natural way our body produces energy is through small “energy factories” inside all our cells. Many of you have heard about these tiny mitochondria. They convert the food we eat into a form of energy our cells can use.
Mitochondria are essential because our body’s cells cannot directly use food for energy. Food (especially sucrose) has to be converted into a particular type of energy charge our cells can use, called Adenosine Triphosphate or “ATP” energy.
More Than Physical Energy
This mitochondria ATP energy is involved in more than a physical ‘run around the block’ energy. It is what actually fuels every function, hormone, organ and system in our body. The brain, heart, and kidneys all use ATP energy to work with and function well.

How Does Mito-Life Work?
The “4-Pillars”: It starts with what we call the “4-Pillars” of mitochondria nutrients. These are the essential nutrients required for the mitochondria to efficiently convert sucrose into ATP energy and to build more mitochondria. (We will be adding more detailed information at ppt-health.com and in our upcoming eBook.) These 4-Pillars are:
- Coenzyme Q10 – CoQ10 is well known for helping the heart. It does so by binding glucose and fat with oxygen through the mitochondria electron transport chain. It then transports protons to help form the ATP molecule. For good measure, it also helps reduce antioxidants.
- NAD+ Precursors – NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is part of the famous Krebs Cycle which helps give the ATP particle its charge. It also regulates SIRT1 & 3 levels for added protection. We use safer precursors; niacin, niacinamide, l-tryptophan and resveratrol to let the body regulate how much NAD to make.
- D-Ribose – D-Ribose forms a large part of the ATP energy molecule, greatly increasing myocardial ATP production.
- PQQ – Pyrroloquinoline quinone, PQQ, is one of the new superstars! It activates genes that stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis (making new mitochondria), helping the growth of new mitochondria inside aging cells.
Support Nutrients: In addition to the nutrients mentioned above, there are additional support nutrients. These nutrients help the Four Pillars above work better together – and to produce better mitochondria ATP energy results. They are:
Acetyl L-Carnitine (ALC) – It binds with fatty acids, carrying them into the mitochondria to be used for energy. ALC also prevents the production of oxidants, up-regulates complex bc1 gene expression, mRNA stability and protects against lipid peroxidation and membrane breakdown. (It does a lot.)
Magnesium – As in so many functions in the body, it is an important catalyst helping all these reactions take place. It is also good to take magnesium in supplement form since many are deficient in it.
N-Acetyl L-Cysteine (NAC) – There is a lot of chemical action in the mitochondria. NAC helps break down and remove toxins and antioxidants from the mitochondria, helping preserve the mitochondria.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid (r-ALA) – The “R’ form is the most stable and bioavailable lipoic acid and makes ALC (above) more effective. It is also 10 times stronger an antioxidant in the inner mitochondria membrane.
How Long Does Mito-Life Take?
The Mito-Life supplement system comes in 2 containers:
The First is a capsule bottle containing most of the concentrated nutrients.
The Second is a container of d-ribose powder to mix in a liquid.
Both are needed and come packaged together.
Mito-Life boosts energy in 2 stages. (Important note: Mito-Life does not produce instantaneous results, nor is it designed to. However, the goal is to make steady long-term changes that result in a healthier source of energy.
First, Mito-Life begins by increasing the energy efficiency of your current mitochondria. This is the smaller of the energy boosts, but many people notice an energy increase in 2-3 weeks.
Second, Mito-Life takes longer to build new mitochondria but the increasing numbers of mitochondria begin to produce a larger steady energy flow at the end of the second month. (Many people take two dosages, morning and evening, the first 2 months to make this process more effective.)
People start to notice:

(Note: We recommend initially jotting a few notes of how much energy you have now. After the initial start-up: People usually continue the mitochondria rebuilding process an additional 2-4 months (unless a specific illness extends that timeline a little).
Once the desired energy level is reached, maintaining the energy level only involves on/off cycles of Mito-Life a few months a year.
